How to Add or Update Order Tags in Shopify
Follow these steps to add or change tags on your Shopify orders:
1. Log in to Shopify Admin
- Open the Shopify Admin page: yourstore.myshopify.com/admin
- Log in using your admin account.
2. Open the Orders Menu
- On the left sidebar, select Orders.
- You will see a list of all orders received by the store.
3. Select the Order to Add or Change Tags
- Click on an order number to open its details.
- You will be directed to the order detail page.
4. Add or Edit Order Tags
- On the right side or below the order title, look for the Tags section.
- Click on the tag input area.

- Add a new tag: type the tag name then press Enter.
- Select an existing tag: click one of the tags that appear in the list.
- Remove a tag: click the X sign on the tag you want to delete.
5. Save Changes
Shopify will automatically save changes after you add or remove tags. You do not need to press a save button.
