Starting November 2, 2026, Biteship will use a new subscription structure consisting of Starter, Grow, Scale, and Biteship Plus.
This change unifies the use of the Dashboard, Shopify, WooCommerce, and API under one subscription structure. This means that one company uses the same Biteship plan for its channels, with more centralized management of plans, usage, Billing, and add-ons.
As Biteship continues to develop its platform and capabilities to support the logistics operations of growing businesses, the subscription structure is also being updated so that the available plans, usage, and capabilities are easier to understand and manage in one place.
This article explains the change schedule, new plans, the migration process for existing users, how limits will be applied, and what you need to check before the changes take effect.
Change schedule
| Date | What happens |
|---|---|
| October 1, 2026 | Information about the new plans and prices begins to be published. During October, purchases will still use the old plan structure. |
| November 2, 2026 | The new Billing structure takes effect. Relevant existing plans will be migrated automatically. New limits will not yet be enforced. |
| November 2–8, 2026 | Transition period to check the plan applied to the account, usage, active couriers, origin locations, team members, custom rates, and other usage. |
| November 9, 2026 | Limits and resource limits for the new plans begin to be enforced. |
Old plans purchased or renewed before November 2 will still be migrated to the new structure on November 2, with the active period following the period already paid for.
What is changing?
The four Biteship plans available in the new structure are:
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Shipments/month | Active couriers | Origin locations | Custom rates | Manager / Operations |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Rp0 | Rp0 | 100 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 1 / 0 |
| Grow | Rp149,000 | Rp1,490,000 | 2,000 | 10 | 5 | 3 | 1 / 1 |
| Scale | Rp999,000 | Rp9,990,000 | 10,000 | 20 | 10 | 10 | 3 / 5 |
| Biteship Plus | Contact Us | Contact Us | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Finance and Developer seats remain unlimited. Add-on availability depends on the plan and capabilities being used.
For a more complete feature comparison, see the Biteship Pricing page.
One company uses one plan
Under the new structure, plans are no longer separated by Dashboard, plugin, or API.
If your company uses more than one Biteship channel, all of those channels follow the same plan at the company level. Relevant Billing and usage are also managed under one structure.
For example, if your company has a Grow plan resulting from a migrated Shopify subscription, Dashboard and API usage for the same company will also follow Grow.
How does this change apply to my account?
If you already use Biteship Plus
If you are an existing Biteship Plus user, your current plan is not affected by this subscription update.
You do not need to migrate your plan as part of this change.
For accounts with a commercial agreement, custom pricing, or other special settings, the account terms will continue to follow the applicable agreement.
If you use the Biteship Dashboard
If your company uses the Dashboard and does not have another subscription that maps the company to a different plan, the account will automatically be placed on Starter on November 2.
If your company also has another Biteship subscription, such as a Shopify/WooCommerce subscription migrated to Grow, the Dashboard will follow the plan assigned to that company.
Starting November 9, Dashboard usage will follow the plan limits, including shipments, returns, active couriers, origin locations, custom rates, and certain roles.
Therefore, check the plan applied to your account and your usage during November 2–8 to make sure the plan capacity still meets your operational needs.
If you use the Biteship API
If your company currently uses the API without another subscription that maps the account to a different plan, the account will automatically be placed on Starter.
On Starter, Rates, Tracking, and Maps use a pay-per-request model starting with the first request.
Grow and Scale include monthly quotas in the plan:
| Plan | Rates | Tracking | Maps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Pay per request | Pay per request | Pay per request |
| Grow | 10,000/month | 2,000/month | 50,000/month |
| Scale | 50,000/month | 10,000/month | 200,000/month |
| Biteship Plus | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
For API usage not covered by the plan quota, the applicable rates are Rates Rp5/request, Tracking Rp10/request, and Maps Rp2/request, using Bitepoints. On Starter, these rates apply starting with the first request.
The monthly Rates, Tracking, and Maps quotas are shared quotas at the company level. Usage from relevant Biteship channels, including Dashboard, Shopify/WooCommerce, and API, contributes to the same quota.
If your company also has another subscription that results in a Grow, Scale, or other plan, the API will follow the company plan rather than receiving a separate plan.
How are Shopify and WooCommerce migrations performed?
If you use one of the old plugin plans, migration will be performed automatically on November 2, 2026. You do not need to purchase a new plan just to complete the migration.
| Old plan | Plan after migration |
|---|---|
| Essentials Monthly | Starter + Shopify/WooCommerce Plugin Add-On |
| Essentials Yearly | Grow Yearly through the existing plan’s expiration date |
| Standard Monthly | Grow Monthly |
| Standard Yearly | Grow Yearly |
| Premium Monthly | Grow Monthly + Instant Courier Add-On |
| Premium Yearly | Grow Yearly + Instant Courier Add-On |
The payment period will remain the same: monthly plans will be migrated to monthly plans, and annual plans to annual plans.
The expiration date of the existing plan will also not change. There will be no migration fees, top-ups, refunds, or prorated adjustments at the time of migration.
For Essentials Yearly only
Essentials Yearly users will receive Grow Yearly through the expiration date of the plan already paid for, without having to pay the difference at the time of migration.
The previous Essentials Yearly recurring payment will not carry over after migration. The next renewal will follow the Grow structure and pricing applicable at the time of renewal.
What happens on November 9 if usage exceeds the limit?
Plan limits begin to be enforced on November 9, 2026. Through November 8, you have time to review and adjust the resources you want to keep.
| Resource | If the limit is exceeded on November 9 |
|---|---|
| Active couriers | Couriers above the limit will be disabled, not permanently deleted. The system prioritizes couriers based on most recent usage, followed by the earliest installation time. |
| Origin locations | Locations above the limit will be permanently deleted. The system retains the oldest locations. |
| Manager / Operations | Members above the limit will be permanently deleted from the limited resource. The oldest members will be retained. |
| Custom rates | Custom rates above the limit will be permanently deleted. The oldest custom rates will be retained. |
| Orders | New order creation will be blocked after the monthly quota is reached. Previous orders and history will not be deleted. |
| Returns | New return creation will be blocked after the quota is reached. Previous returns will remain stored. |
Finance and Developer seats remain unlimited. Order history and API usage will also not be deleted as a result of the limits being enforced.
If you want to decide which resources remain in use, make adjustments before November 9.
What do I need to do?
- Check the plan applied to your account through Biteship Dashboard > Billing after the new Billing system is active.
- Compare your current usage with the plan limits, including shipments, returns, active couriers, origin locations, custom rates, team members, and API usage.
- Make sure the couriers and resources most important to your business remain within the plan limits.
- If you use Shopify or WooCommerce, check the results of your plugin plan migration.
- If you use the API, check your Rates, Tracking, Maps, orders, returns, and Bitepoints balance usage.
- If usage exceeds the limit, adjust your resources, use available add-ons, or choose a plan with more suitable capacity.
Information about active plans, subscription periods, usage, transactions, invoices, and renewal settings is available through the Billing menu.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to create a new account?
No. Your company account will remain the same. The subscription structure and Billing are what will change.
Do I need to migrate manually?
No. Affected existing subscriptions will be migrated automatically on November 2 according to the treatment applicable to each account.
Will my plan be limited immediately on November 2?
No. The migration and new Billing system take effect on November 2, while the new limits begin to be enforced on November 9. The November 2–8 period can be used to review and adjust the account.
What if I purchase or renew an old plan during October?
Purchases will continue to use the old structure through November 1. The plan will still be migrated on November 2, and the active period will follow the period already paid for.
Are there additional fees during migration?
No. For existing paid subscriptions that are migrated, there will be no top-ups, refunds, or prorated calculations at the time of migration.
What happens to my auto-renewal after migration?
If your plugin subscription previously used auto-renewal, the subscription and saved payment method will be migrated to Billing according to the migration process. You do not need to re-enter your payment method just to maintain your current subscription.
An exception applies to Essentials Yearly. The previous Essentials Yearly recurring payment will not carry over after migration. The plan will remain migrated to Grow Yearly through the paid active period, and the next renewal will follow the Grow structure and pricing applicable at that time.
How much will I pay at the next renewal?
At the next renewal, the charge will follow the plan and add-on pricing structure applicable at the time of renewal.
If your account has custom pricing, a commercial agreement, or special pricing settings, the terms of that account agreement will continue to apply.
If my plan is annual, can add-ons be paid for monthly?
No. The add-on period follows the main plan period. If your plan uses an annual period, the related add-ons will also follow an annual period.
Add-ons do not have a special annual discount. The annual cost is calculated based on the monthly add-on price × 12, unless otherwise specified.
Can one company use different plans for the Dashboard, plugin, and API?
No. One company uses the same plan for the Biteship channels it uses.
Will Shopify/WooCommerce still require a separate plugin plan?
Not under the new structure. Shopify and WooCommerce subscriptions will no longer be managed as separate plugin plans as they were previously.
Shopify/WooCommerce plugins are managed as part of the Biteship plan or as add-ons available through Billing. Availability depends on the plan and capabilities being used.
Can I upgrade my plan?
Yes. After the new Billing system is active, you can choose a more suitable plan if your shipment, courier, location, team, plugin, or API needs exceed your current plan.
Can I purchase an add-on without upgrading my plan?
Yes, as long as the add-on is available for the plan and capabilities you use. Add-on availability may differ between plans.
Can I choose which resources to keep before the limits are enforced?
Yes. Before November 9, you can manually adjust your resources so that the most important ones remain within the plan limits.
You can review and adjust active couriers, origin locations, team members, custom rates, and other resources with limits. If needed, you can also use available add-ons or choose a plan with more suitable capacity.
If a resource is deleted because it exceeds the limit and I then upgrade, will the resource automatically return?
No, not for resources that have been permanently deleted.
Origin locations, certain team members, or custom rates that have been deleted must be created or added again if needed after you upgrade.
Couriers that have only been disabled and not permanently deleted can be reactivated as long as your plan capacity allows.
What happens if my order or return quota runs out?
Orders and returns will not incur an additional per-transaction fee after the quota is exhausted.
When the order quota is full, new order creation will be blocked until the next quota period or until you use a plan with more suitable capacity. Previous orders and history will remain stored.
The same applies to returns. When the return quota is full, new return creation will be blocked, while previous returns and history will remain available.
What happens if my Rates, Tracking, or Maps quota runs out?
For plans with an included monthly quota, Rates, Tracking, or Maps usage beyond the quota may be charged per request using Bitepoints at the applicable rates:
- Rates: Rp5/request
- Tracking: Rp10/request
- Maps: Rp2/request
If your Bitepoints balance is insufficient, requests may fail until the balance is topped up or the quota becomes available in the next period.
On Starter, Rates, Tracking, and Maps use a pay-per-request model starting with the first request.
Are subscription payments made using Bitepoints?
No. Subscription payments are made through the payment/Billing page. Bitepoints continue to be used for specific usage that is billed through Bitepoints, including certain API usage outside the quota.
What if my account has custom pricing or a special agreement?
The terms of the commercial agreement or special account settings remain the primary reference. Catalog prices and limits may differ for accounts with special treatment.
Where can I check my plan and usage?
Starting November 2, open Biteship Dashboard > Billing > Summary to view the active plan, validity period, auto-renewal, usage, transactions, and invoices.
