- For you who want to activate the COD feature for Couriers
The purpose of this guide:
- Your consumers can choose the COD payment method and courier services that provide COD services
Detailed Steps:
1. Activate the COD feature on the Settings page in the Biteship plugin.
2. In the percentage section, fill in the additional COD amount from the total value of the goods if needed (usually 4%).
3. In the "Choose Expeditions" section select Sicepat Regular courier because currently it is the only expedition service that provides COD service.
4. Once done, click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.
5. Then, select the "Payment" section in WooCommerce Settings.
6. Check the "Cash on Delivery" payment method and click "Save Changes" as shown in the image below.
7. Once enabled, click "Manage" as shown in the image below on the "Cash on Delivery" method.
8. In the "Enable for Shipping Methods" section, find "Biteship" and "Any Biteship Method" will appear, then click "Save Changes" as shown in the image below.
9. Try creating 1 fake order for testing, select "Sicepat - Regular" as shown in the image below.
10. After that, the COD payment method option will appear as shown below. If you choose anything other than "Sicepat - Regular", the COD payment method will not appear.
11. After the goods have been shipped, the COD money will be received 7 days after the goods arrive and are accepted by the buyer (for example, shipped today on the 18th, arrived at the customer on the 20th, then the money will be credited to bitepoints on October 27th).
12. Users will receive the COD money via Bite Points in the Biteship Dashboard and can withdraw it afterward.
