Introduction
Shipping becomes easier with the service to check shipping costs and direct pickup from the location assisted by more than 20 couriers. So sellers can focus on increasing sales because checking shipping rates and shipments will be handled by Biteship for WooCommerce.

If you are using the WooCommerce plugin version 8.2.0 or above, make sure to:
- Select "WordPress posts storage (legacy)" from WooCommerce -> Settings --> Advanced -> Features

If the "WordPress posts storage (legacy)" button is disabled, then:
- Synchronize orders that have been created following the instructions on the same page or;
- Permanently delete all existing order data
- Make sure you do not activate other shipping cost or courier plugins to avoid errors on the checkout page.
- If you experience issues on the checkout page even after deactivating other shipping plugins, you can report your issue to the Biteship Admin.
- Make sure you select Classic Checkout as shown in the image below by going to: WP Admin -> Pages --> Checkout Page --> Hover Checkout Form
- Make sure the Shipping Destination changes to "Default to customer shipping address" as shown in the image below.

9 Easy Steps to Activate the Plugin
1. Download the Biteship plugin via this link and make sure the file name matches biteship-woocommerce.zip Then open the “Plugins” page on WooCommerce, click “Add New Plugin” and click "Upload Plugin" as shown in the image below. If the plugin is already installed, the page will look like the one below.

2. Fill in the store data starting from "Store Name", "Sender Name", "Phone Number" (with the format starting with 0), and "Sender Email"
3. If you need insurance, check "Enable Insurance" and it is recommended to fill in 0.5%. The insurance cost will be charged to customers by adding the value to the total purchase.
4. If you need the COD feature, check "Enable COD" and it is recommended to fill in 4%. Please refer to the following guide for activating the COD feature. Couriers that support COD are JNE - Regular, ID Express - Reg, ID Express - Half Kilo, ID Express - Half Kilo, Sicepat - Reg, SAP - Reg, Tiki - Reg.
5. Fill in "Carry Weight" if you have items without weight. If all items have weight, you can enter 0 or leave it blank.
6. Choose "Checkout Type" according to your preference.
Enable "Tracking Page" which is optional, aimed at providing a tracking page for customers according to the instructions here.
Enable "Multi Origins" which is optional, intended to allow shipping products from various starting locations with instructions here.
Enable "Automatically Update WooCommerce Status" which is optional, intended to change the order status to "Completed" when the shipping status becomes "Delivered".
6. Fill in "Origin Address", "Postal Code", and "Coordinates" as a reference to check shipping costs and pickup location. When done, click "Save Address".
9. To fill in the "API Key", register or log in to the Biteship Dashboard, then go to the "Integration" section and make sure you have filled in the "Profile" under "Settings" before creating the WooCommerce API Key. If you choose a paid package, make sure you have paid for it after creating the "API Key". See here for package activation
8. Copy and paste the API key generated in the Biteship Dashboard, then click "Update Key".
9. Select "Courier" according to the activated "API Key" and "Enable" the Biteship plugin, then click "Save Changes".
10. Check on the "Checkout" page if, after entering the destination address, the shipping cost per courier appears.
