Purpose of this guide:
- Your customers can choose the COD payment method and courier services that provide COD services
Detailed Steps:
1. Activate the COD feature on the Settings page in the Biteship plugin.
2. In the percentage section, enter the additional COD amount from the total value of the goods if needed (usually 4%).
3. In the "Choose Expeditions" section, select the Sicepat Regular courier because currently it is the only expedition service that offers COD.
4. Once done, click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.
5. Then, go to the "Payment" section in WooCommerce Settings.
6. Check the "Cash on Delivery" payment method and click "Save Changes" as shown below.
7. Once enabled, click "Manage" as shown below on the "Cash on Delivery" method.
8. In the "Enable for Shipping Methods" section, find "Biteship" and "Any Biteship Method" will appear; click "Save Changes" as shown below.
9. Try creating a test order, select "Sicepat - Regular" as shown below.
10. After that, the COD payment method option will appear as shown below. If you select any courier other than "Sicepat - Regular," the COD payment method will not appear.
11. After the goods have been shipped, the COD money will be received 7 days after the goods arrive and are accepted by the buyer (for example, if shipped today on the 18th, arrive at the customer on the 20th, then the money will be credited to Bitepoints on October 27th).
12. Users will receive COD money through Bite Points in the Biteship Dashboard and can withdraw it afterward.
