Buying Biteship add-ons is simple: you can add quotas or unlock additional features directly from the Billing menu without changing your subscription package. Add-ons are suitable when your business needs exceed the limits of your current package, for example, when you need additional origin locations (warehouses), new team members, or features such as Shopify and WooCommerce plugin integration.
Add-ons are purchased per billing period. You only pay for the quotas or features you actually need, keeping costs under control while shipping operations continue to run.
This article will help you understand:
- The types of add-ons available in Biteship
- How to buy add-ons through the Biteship Dashboard

1. What Are Biteship Package Add-Ons?
An add-on is an additional quota or feature that you can purchase outside your active subscription package. Add-ons are divided into two types:
- Quota Add-Ons: increase your account usage limits, namely Origin locations (the number of origin locations or shipping warehouses), Manager members (team members with the manager role), and Operations members (team members with the operations role).
- Feature Add-Ons: unlock features that are not included in your package, such as Shopify and WooCommerce Plugin, Instant Courier Capability for Plugin, and International Shipping.
The list of add-ons and their prices is displayed directly on the dashboard and may vary depending on your package. Features already included in your package or already purchased during the current period will no longer appear on the list.

3. Understanding Add-On Costs and Validity Periods

- Recurring: the add-on will be renewed together with the package in each billing cycle.
- Feature prorating: the feature add-on price may be prorated according to the remaining days in the current period, indicated by Rp... for the remaining period.
- Bill waived: with automatic renewal, if the prorated amount due now is below the minimum threshold, the bill is waived and the full price will apply starting from the next bill.
4. Understanding Add-On Purchase Statuses
- pending - Pending: the purchase has been created, but payment has not been completed. On the Billing > Overview page, the You have a pending add-on payment. notification will appear. Click Pay to continue the payment.
- paid - Successful: payment has been received and the add-on is active on your account.
- failed - Failed: the payment was unsuccessful. Please repeat the purchase from the add-on catalogue.
5. Tips for a Smooth Add-On Purchase
- Check usage first: check the Used number for each quota add-on so that the quantity purchased matches your needs.
- Combine purchases: you can select several add-ons at once and pay for them in a single checkout.
- Consider upgrading your package: if you need many add-ons every month, a higher package may be more economical. Compare them through the Package menu in the same window.
- Renew your package before it expires: add-ons cannot be purchased during the grace period, so make sure your package is still active.
