This article explains the steps to set custom rates on the Biteship integration with WooCommerce and Shopify. Follow the guide below to facilitate your setup process.
Guide to Setting Custom Rates
To get started, please log in to your Biteship account. If you do not have an account yet, please register first.
Step 2: Access Settings
- Open the Biteship dashboard.
- Then, select the Rates menu on the sidebar, then choose Custom rates.
Step 3: Add Custom Rate
- Click Add Custom Rates
- Select the Custom Rates Type (Discount, Absolute, Flat Rate)
- Flat rate applies only to regular services (does not apply to instant services)
- Discount and absolute apply to all services
- Enter the Minimum and Maximum price of items to which you want to apply custom rates
- Select the delivery area requirements for the custom rates
- Select the courier to which you want to apply custom rates.
Step 4: Save Settings
After all information is filled in, click Activate to save your custom rate settings.
Step 5: Testing
Finally, perform a test to ensure that the custom rate you set works properly at checkout on WooCommerce or Shopify. Make a test purchase to verify that the cost is calculated correctly.
